I think that mostly all rules are about as important to kids as this blog is to me. Needless to say i don’t care about rules because they all get broken by somebody or another. Rules are meant to be broken in every way known to man and some ways not. I break rules all the time; the rule at school that states all students and staff must wear their ID tags at all times is total bull, some of the teachers don’t even wear them.

All of the rules my parents make are useless, no laying on the couch, no eating past 8:30 PM, no sitting on the roof, and my favorite, no driving with friends. I am not afraid to admit that i break all of these rules at least once a week. I think that all rules are dumb because all of them are broken all the time.

The most controversial issue in Lois Lowry’s The Giver is the fact that everything in life is planned and in closed off little society. I think life should be a ride that you only get to take once so you should make it a great one.

New Year’s Resolution

I didn’t make a new year’s resolution because ultimately, I will fail. The best way not to fail is not to try, so by not making one I succeed. I stopped trying the hard way years ago because I can just not set any goals and succeed in life. To me trying is failing in the end so I don’t try. I also don’t try a New Year’s Resolution because I think they are a big waste of time.

I think that women used to be seen as possessions and men only married to have children and get the dowry that the father of the woman offered.

My podcast is about Marriage and Courtship. In this podcast the listener will hear information on the topic. There was pretty much no choice for the oldest son and all of the daughters in the family. After the couple was arranged they would have formal wedding. There wasn’t much else to do with Marriage and Courtship.
